WHY USE A CELEBRANT?
'Happy New Year Ana! Thank you again for making our wedding day very special!! We were delighted with your lovely script and loved the flow and words! Thank you so much for all your fantastic help.'

Just a quick message from our “minimoon” in Cheltenham! [😃]
Just like to say thank you so much for everything you did not only on the day but the lead up to the big day as well!
I’m pretty sure without your calming presence and gentle nudges we would have been even more lost and generally confused before the ceremony! You were brilliant, and we both really appreciate everything you did!

'We used Ana for our wedding last month and could not be happier! She really took time to get to know us and worked with us to create a wedding ceremony that was personal for us as a couple, down to every detail. Nothing was too much and she went above and beyond. We are absolutely over the moon with how it went. Thank you Ana!'

'Well you reduced us both to tears - my God you’re good ! It’s absolutely beautiful - thank you so much'.
ALL of my clients love my bespoke services!
From the mad, quirky or funky, with symbolic elements, to the more serious and traditional service, I attentively listen and cater to YOUR needs. I'm a bit quirky too; I love to laugh but I’m also calm and focussed, ensuring your service runs smoothly.
Although an ex-teacher and lecturer, I'm more than able to deliver effectively but I'm not ‘preachy’ or school teacher-ish in the least.
Caring for people, words, literature and delivery are definitely my strong points. I even write or adapt poetry.
Connecting with people from all walks of life is an honour and I work without prejudice. I was honoured to be part of one of the first same-sex Canadian weddings in 2004; it had an English theme, with a fabulous blessing from ‘HRH Queen Elizabeth’!
KEEP YOUR 'LEGALS' & YOUR 'CEREMONIALS' SEPARATE - SEE JOE & LUCY'S VIDEO BELOW, FOR EXAMPLE!
This way, your beliefs and creativity can be reflected in your ceremony and all lifestyles or orientations are embraced. And no sitting around waiting for the Registrar to check you are not being forced into marriage!
Have a BEAUTIFUL ceremony with the heartfelt words of your choice in ANY venue you choose, either before or after a Registrar 'simple ceremony'. You are NOT obliged to use a Registrar for your ceremonial service, or use the Registrar's more elaborate suites and packages.
Registrars make money for councils - they sadly will never be given the time to make your ceremony as personal or bespoke as an Independent Celebrant will.
Did you know that only 41 basic words, in addition to your names, make your wedding legal in a £57 simple Registrar Ceremony with just two witnesses? These words are:
I do solemnly declare that I know not of any lawful impediment why I (your name) may not be joined in matrimony to (partner's name)
I call up these persons here present to witness that I (your name) do take thee (partner's name) to be my lawful wedded wife (or husband)
