Working with couples from every walk of life is a joy as I embrace diversity in all its forms. Being part of one of the first same-sex, English-themed, Canadian weddings in 2004 was epic – with a fabulous blessing from ‘HRH’ and cheerleading pom poms to shake…I LOVED it!

CHOOSE ANY SYMBOLIC ELEMENTS
Unity candles, sand blends, loving cups, cocktails, broom jumping, beer blending, tea ceremonies – these and more are always on offer! Any ‘props’ I own are free for you to borrow, including an outdoor PA. As a qualified Aromatherapist, I can even offer gorgeous hand / foot-washing, oil-blending and anointing ceremonies.
As a Celtic Celebrant, I weave and gift Celtic ‘Eternity Knot’ cords if a Handfasting is your thing. My four-coloured logo braid reflects my Celtic heritage and brand – RED symbolic of love, BLUE-sky dreams, YELLOW for joy and GREEN for groundedness and earth connections. I also weave cords in other colours and materials.
My Independent Wedding ceremonies are blissfully unfettered by legal procedures or restrictions – Vow Renewals are always non-legal so no Registrar need be involved at all.
A five-minute ‘Simple’ Registry declaration of marriage covers your legals on a separate day – about 46 words at a fee of around £60. By law, Registrars MUST provide these office declarations, even if expensive suite options only seem available – so do push a bit!
Keep these boring legal bits from your WEDDING DAY – with rings, vows, ceremonial certificates etc… ALL saved until your beautiful, bespoke ceremony created with me.
My ceremonies allow ANY words, music and symbolic elements in ANY part of a Licensed or Unlicensed venue or other location, indoors or out – there are simply NO LIMITS – even alcohol toasts or loving cups are allowed!
All this may well cost way less than an unknown attending Registrar’s ‘cut and paste’ ceremony – and is ALWAYS more awesome.

MY 10 STEPS TO YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY HEAVEN
(in addition to a cracking ceremony, of course…)
1. A HELLO meeting to see if we click!
2. A Contract & your Booking Fee secure your date and I start planning.
3. I supply guidance, suggestions and notes to help YOU make decisions.
4. I liaise with your planner/venue and scope your location.
5. I get to know you via meeting/s & questionnaires - whatever suits you!
6. You pay your second, final payment when the draft ceremony is ready.
7. We review and edit this draft fully as a team so you are totally happy!
8. I help with Vow advice/a Vow Workshop for meaningful vows.
9. I meet your entourage to review choreography and support readers.
10. On the day, I arrive early to ensure all is well and brief your guests. I help post-ceremony too!
FEES – A truly personalised, ‘from scratch’ wedding ceremony entails 20 to 30 hours of meetings, planning, writing, choreography, travelling and editing.
Neither a Registrar nor Budget Celebrant ‘cut and paste’ A, B or C option,every part of my ceremony will be unique to you.
‘Simply Bespoke’ – £470 – £570 (weekdays are cheaper) – actual hello meeting in Cornwall, or a video hello. ALL video meetings needed for a ‘from scratch’ unique service, with guidance on vows, readings, choreography and advice notes to entourage. ECO FRIENDLY as involves less travel & great for destination and elopement ceremonies.
‘Bespoke And Some’ – £670 – everything included in the above with a fully attended wedding rehearsal and a vow-writing tutorial. All the entourage are also offered a mentor session to go over their roles. The whole shebang!
‘Writing Only Ceremony Package’ for just £325 – do you have a fabulous friend or relative who just needs some coaching support to deliver the wonderful ceremony I write with clear choreography notes? I’ll also happily mentor them in the lead-up to your day for no extra. This is an enormous role for a friend or relative to take on, so I thoroughly recommend this supported package.
My contract process is clear and simple, sent and agreed via email – a £150 Booking Fee included in the fees secures your date! As only one ceremony is booked per day, I close your date off to other couples and start to work my magic.
For the ceremony, I travel up to 2 hrs from TR11 at NO extra cost. If you are outside this, I can help to recommend fabulous colleagues more local to you … or we can discuss reasonable accommodation/travel fees so I don’t arrived frazzled!
