NAMING & ADOPTION CEREMONIES
A day to mark an addition to your family is magical with me as a Celebrant. There are so many ways to make this special! You decide on which elements to include in your celebratory ceremony – I’ll happily help with creative, wonderful ideas for an amazing, joyful day to remember!
Many of my wedding couples have incorporated a naming or a family unity element into their ceremony. Talk to me about this! This would be included in the wedding fee.
Any symbolic family sand-blending, unity candle, handfasting etc… is possible, and I have many props to loan. I also weave and gift family Handfasting cords.
Guide Parents, God Parents or even Odd Parents – that’s up to you!
Religious or non-religious – well, that’s up to you too!
ADOPTION CEREMONIES
I’m a devoted adoptive ‘Ma’. My own son LOVED his Official Adoption Day in Court (‘Gotcha’ Day) and his huge party the following weekend. I am happy to provide services to run alongside, or in addition to, adoption court declarations.
